Job Description

 

To achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by acting as the principle contact between the Company and the customer whilst achieving the agreed Service Level Agreements. 

 

To develop and grow National Accounts and to maximise opportunities within our existing customer base to ensure that budgets and targets are not only achieved by exceeded.

 

Customer Relations

  • Manage corporate accounts, develop and implement a national call plan to position Crown as the preferred supplier.
  • Meet with customers on the corporate account list on a frequent basis.
  • Ensure all client requests/enquiries are attended to in a timely manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers by entertaining customers during and outside of business hours.
  • Provide regular information and updates to customers.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure all business dealings are carried out ethically, adhering to all Crown policies.

 

National Operational Support

  • Monitor Service performance to mutually agreed key performance indicators.
  • Provide feedback to Crown Branch and Service Managers on any customer issues.
  • Liaise with Engineering, Manufacturing, Parts, Product Support and Sales on any product related issues.

 

Service Reviews

  • Lead quarterly customer review meetings.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with nominated National Account service group representatives.
  • Ensure that all property, equipment and documents belonging to the company, its clients and associates in control of, or used in the performance of the function, are kept secure and available in good   condition.
  • Complete a minimum targeted number of “Customer Site Visits/Evaluations” per month.

 

Reporting /   Administration

  • Provide the highest level of professional fleet maintenance service to a list of nominated accounts.
  • Run and analyse reports using excel. Analyse monthly and report on:
    • Service activity
    • Fleet utilisation
    • Fleet optimisation
    • Debtors
    • Report accidents.

 

Resource Management

  • Monitor and report on any Non conformance to customer in house procedures, i.e. invoicing, maintenance schedule, contractor   guidelines.
  • Provide specialist advice when necessary to support customer Materials Handling Equipment requirements. 

 

Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure that Service staff complies with Company and customer safety procedures and policies.
  • Ensure product incidents/issues are reported promptly.

 

 

 

Person Specification

We are looking for a dynamic, driven, outgoing, self-starting and passionate candidate who has a “can do” attitude to business.  Ideally, you will be an accomplished National Customer Service Account Manager who has got a background in the Materials Handling industry.

This is a national based position involves national travel with expectations of overnight stay, with frequent travel to Scotland. Our branches are located in Basingstoke, Coatbridge and Warrington, however location of candidate is flexible around the UK.

Essential Skills:

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • First rate communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer skills with the ability to build long term relationships and grow new partnerships.

  • Able to work under pressure in a competitive market place and gain market advantage.
  • Ability to prioritise workload by importance.

Hours of Work:

 

Monday to Friday – 8 hours per day

 

Target Salary:

 

Highly competitive salary structure (dependant on experience).

 

Company Vehicle:

 

Pool car for the first 9 months during probationary period, then the choice of vehicle in line with current Company Car policy.

Fuel card with private mileage benefit.

 

Commission:

 

Generous commission structure paid quarterky and guaranteed for the first quarter following commencement of employment.

 

Holidays:

 

25 days holiday.
