Job Description

Responsible for Crown Lift Trucks’ promotion to the UK market of the company’s new Technology and VNA products.

Increase Crown’s share of the VNA market in the UK.

Reporting to the Head of Technology and VNA.

Key tasks expected of this role, however as the role progress further tasks will evolve, as result of which the role is flexible.

 

Technology

 

 

 

QPR:

 

Work with the various Sales teams to identify   potential QPR targets and then plan & co-ordinate subsequent trials with   a view to achieving growth of additional customers.

 

Insite:

 

Provide support to the various Sales Teams with   selling the InfoLink product.

APS:

 

Promote the adoption of APS at every available   opportunity to gain additional VNA business.

 

 

 

VNA

 

 

 

Target   Growth:

 

Increase Crown’s UK market share to 20% within 2 years   (TSP market).

 

Simulations:

 

Provide detailed VNA simulations by use of the TSP   Estimator App and other tools.

 

Expert   Knowledge:

 

Become a VNA application expert including good   knowledge of the competitors’ products and their approach to the market.

 

Review   Orders:

 

Review orders to ensure correct specification of   product.

 

 

 

 

Management   Support

 

Provide   support to the Head of Technology and VNA (e.g. data reporting).

 

Person Specification

You need to be capable of being an integral part of a customer enquiry, form enquiry, through to delivery of solution, engagement with customer and all in between. The primary focus is that you know the narrow aisle market place extremely well and are technically adept, be this in sales or pre sales.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Must hold full UK Driving Licence.
  • Interpersonal skills are required as the role requires the ability to liaise effectively with customers and multiple internal departments.
  • Educated with an ability to achieve a grade C in English and maths at   GCSE.
  • Being self-motivated and comfortable speaking in front of small to medium sized groups is necessary for this position. 
  • Commitment to continuing personal and professional development.
  • Excellent organisational skills, resourceful and solution driven.
  • A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi‐task, prioritising workloads to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Clear communication skills – oral and written.
  • Consultation and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility to cope with diverse needs of the post.
  • Highly motivated and possessing a resilience to work under pressure.
  • Positive, personable and optimistic with a can do attitude.

Desirable Skills: 

  • Recent and relevant experience of working in the forklift truck sales environment, but not essential.

Vacancy Details

 

 

Hours of Work:

Monday to   Friday – 8 hours per day.

 

Company Vehicle:

A company   car and fuel card are provided with the option for private use (provided the   tax is paid).

 

 

 

 

Holidays:

25 days   holiday.
